In spring 2021, Crofton Parish on the south coast of Hampshire partnered with the neighbouring communities of North Gosport to replant and revitalise their 3 churches. In this seminar, Richard and Jude tell the story of how the partnership came to be and share what they are learning in this exciting new chapter.

Richard England has been Vicar of Crofton Parish since 2016 and recently became Team Rector of the newly formed parish of North Gosport, comprising of 3 replanted and re-pioneered churches.

Jude Greenfield is Team Vicar for Church Planting in North Gosport, leading a church plant from Crofton Parish. She previously worked for Christ Church Winchester and St Thomas’ Crookes.

Beth shares four lessons she has learnt from the experiences of the Lifecentre about joining in with what God is doing in your community; sharing the Lifecentre’s story of growing work with families facing food insecurity in the school holidays.

Beth Myring is General Manager of Lifecentre Salford, a charity and community centre working for transformation alongside the local community. She is a Social Worker by background, is a leader at Langworthy Community Church, and is coordinating the Holiday Activities Fund (DFE) for Salford.

Stephen Cottrell is the Archbishop of York. He is a member of the C of E’s Committee for Minority Ethnic Concerns and Chair of Church Army. He is a member of the House of Lords and a writer and speaker on evangelism, spirituality, and catechesis.
