With restrictions lifted this summer, we’re so happy to hear that many of you are planning to gather as local churches and communities for United Breaks Out (UBO). If that’s you, we’d love to connect someone from your group with our UNITERS – see below.

All morning and evening celebrations, kids’, youth and after-hours programmes are being offered without charge again this year. We believe God has called us to be generous and we want to invite as many people as possible to join in. We’ve put the promo pack together to help you spread the word:

UBO Kids & Youth

Our Kids & Luminosity teams have been working hard to prepare resources to support a full 0-11s and 11-18s programme as part of your local gatherings.

To support the daily sessions, United Kids have produced this printable activity booklet with puzzles, challenges, activities and memory verses:

The United Kids Church Pack is also available now here.

This includes the downloadable United Kids Resource Pack of worship songs, games, crafts, activities and prayer ideas.

The New Wine Kids inclusion team have also created Accessible Resources to enable children with certain additional needs to be able to engage more fully with the Moses story themes – including symbols to create a visual timetable, the Moses story in simple text and suggestions for sensory and physical activities to support the daily themes.

“We’re really excited to be hosting a UBO camping weekend at our farm this summer. We’ll connect with New Wine Kids and Luminosity to run kids’ and youth activities and are planning a big BBQ that we’ll invite all the parents to. We’re opening up our ‘church house’ for those not camping to watch the morning and evening meetings – to have fellowship and a chance to minister together.” – Cheddar Valley Community Church, Somerset

Our Community Makers were a huge and vital part of UBO last summer. We loved hearing stories and seeing photos and videos of the wonderful and creative ways people enjoyed fellowship and community.

We know many of you are planning the same this year and, with restrictions lifted, have already started to make plans to gather as local churches.

If this is you, or you’re up for becoming a UNITER on behalf of your church or community, we’d love to hear from you – and to connect you with other UNITERS and the New Wine team.

We’ll meet regularly online in the lead up to the event to share ideas and inspiration, ask questions, release programme info, kids and youth resource packs and more. Watch our invite video from Matt on becoming a UNITER.

Love Offering

On the Sunday of United Breaks Out, we are asking churches to consider collecting a love offering to help us cover the costs of putting on the event without charge. In our original plans, we had been preparing to charge for tickets for UBO as we would when we gather in person. But the Lord spoke prophetically to a number of our leadership and intercessors, all of whom said: ‘you need to give this away without charge.’ So we have taken a step of faith, in obedience, following the Lord’s leading, in eager anticipation that he will use this to bless the nation.

We are trusting God to bridge the resulting financial gap and we would be grateful if you could speak with your church leader to encourage your church to give as they are called and collect a love offering for the ongoing work of New Wine and to help us meet the shortfall of making UBO available without charge.
